Get the TABs to those songs you just can't work out!
There are many FREE Guitar and Bass TAB sites on the Internet. However, due to copyright laws and the confusion over the laws on the Internet, many of these sites have been closed down while others are temporarily frozen. Furthermore, there are more and more pay-to-get-TAB sites popping up on the Internet trying to milk the money out of net surfers. Therefore, I have composed a list below of some great FREE TAB sites.
- OLGA On-line
- In my view OLGA On-line is one of the largest guitar TAB websites that I have come across. Unfortunately, it seems as though the website has been closed down due to copyright issues and therefore it doesn't seem to have been updated for a while. However, if you are after the TABs for songs that are slightly older, it is worth trying to look it up on this huge site.
- Bass-Tabs.co.uk
- If you are looking for Bass tabs, this is the place to start. From the Beatles to Metallica, a nice collection regularly updated.
- The Ultimate Band List
- This is my second favourite site. Just type in the artist and it will search the Internet and display numerous sites that are relevant. Then read through the descriptions of the listed sites to find out which sites will give you the information you are after. e.g. Lyrics, Bass TAB, Guitar TAB, tour dates.
- OZ Music Central
- OZ-Music Central is another smaller TAB site which contains some good TABs by some great Australian bands.
- Guitar Network
- Guitar Network is a great site that provides further links to other guitar sites.
- MAX's Guitar TABs
- Although this is a smaller guitar TAB site, it is worth a visit as it has some great and very accurate TABs.
