The Dandenong Ranges National Park

Climb our thousand steps to One tree Hill.

The City of Knox borders on the beautiful Dandenong Ranges National Park with its forest of lush green Fern trees and tall Mountain Ash. Many visitors each year enjoy a barbecued lunch at the picnic grounds, followed by a short walk to explore the unique flora and fauna in this park. Some visitors may even climb the thousand steps up the mountain and, if they make it that far, end up at One Tree Hill. After their visit they can explore the shops of Upper Ferntree Gully or, if they have come at the right time, the cozy little market near Upper Ferntree Gully Station.
